Total Consecration to Jesus Through Mary.

"To Jesus through Mary."

One of the most beloved and transformative spiritual practices in the Catholic Church is the Total Consecration to Jesus Through Mary as taught by Saint Louis-Marie de Montfort.

This consecration is not an end in itself, nor is it a devotion that distracts from Jesus Christ. Rather, it is a complete surrender of oneself to Our Lord through the hands of His Blessed Mother. Just as Jesus chose to come to us through Mary, Saint Louis teaches that we may safely and confidently go to Jesus through her.

The 33-day preparation is a journey of prayer, self-examination, repentance, and deeper union with God. Through Scripture, prayer, spiritual reading, and reflection, we learn greater humility, grow in knowledge of ourselves, come to know and love Our Blessed Mother more deeply, and ultimately draw closer to Jesus Christ.

Saint Louis de Montfort wrote:

"The more one is consecrated to Mary, the more one is consecrated to Jesus."

True Marian devotion never ends with Mary. It always leads us to her Divine Son. Mary forms souls for Jesus, teaches us to love Him more perfectly, and helps us remain faithful to Him throughout our lives.

Within the mission of the Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Society, this consecration holds special significance. Mary is the first tabernacle, the first monstrance, and the first adorer of Jesus Christ. Through her example of humility, obedience, purity, and contemplation, she teaches us how to approach her Son in the Holy Eucharist with reverence, love, and total surrender.

We invite you to prayerfully consider undertaking this 33-day preparation and entrusting yourself completely to Jesus through Mary.

May Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament lead you ever more deeply into the Heart of her Son.

"My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour." — Luke 1:46-47
